Everyone usually hits up the grocery store to buy their sliced bread. What if I told you, that you could pay half the price of the grocery store at a shop in Jamestown? I visited Nature’s Own Bakery Outlet today.
Flowers Foods runs a manufacturing facility in Jamestown, and has an outlet store on Main Street on the edge of town that sells Nature’s Own and Tastykake brand items. This is not day old in any way. Everything is fresh, but cheap! A loaf of Nature’s Own bread is $1.50. I also picked up some small packs of Tastykake donuts for $1.08 and 67 cents each respectfully. I also figured I’d try their version of Twinkies, called Dreamies. The version I bought is coated in raspberry for 3 bucks. I walked out at $6.35. You can’t beat that in a grocery store.
